Lis Lawrence
Born: Stoke On Trent, August 1988.
Lis started to perform in school shows at the age of five, showing a real interest in stage and theatre.
She started to dance at the age of six, took piano lessons at the age of eleven, picked up the acoustic guitar at fourteen and took her first leading role in the classic musical production as Eliza Do-little in ’My Fair Lady’.
After being brought up on musicals such as Evita, The Sound Of Music and Oliver, as well as being heavily influenced by The Carpenters and Eva Cassidy, it was inevitable that Lis would grow up to perform. She later taking the leading roles in local productions such as Pirates Of Penzance, and Oliver.
Then, at just sixteen years old, she crossed paths with Marcus and started to perform as a guest act on his solo shows, working the pubs and clubs through out the North West England.
A year later Lis made the finals for BBC Radio Stoke’s 'Search For A Star' and soon started to perform and write original material with Marcus. In 2006, The Cameleonz were officially born.
