Welcome to a new week, and a new blog!! Last week started with pain, and MORE tattoo action!! We got up early on the Monday for Marcus to get more of his tattoo done. We have never felt so tired in all our lives...I'm sure Marcus was falling asleep while Ray was inflicting the pain!!

Lis took the opportunity to take her dog out for a walk in the snow. They were skidding down the hill, and Lis was seconds away from falling down on her bum. How embarrassing would that have been?!

We later went to the gym for a hard workout which completely did us in. We definately slept like logs after that!!

Never one to let pain put him off, Marcus decided to return to the tattoo parlour on Tuesday. You would think he might want a rest but, as the saying goes, 'no pain, no gain'. At least it is nearly finished now! After that, we both put ourselves through a different kind of pain...the gym!

We had our new workouts, so we had to work extra hard. All these trips to the gym are paying off though, and we are seeing results. We are even going through a strict diet. Lis cooked us some tea and, even though she can't cook to save her life, it turned out pretty good...nothing was burnt!!

We had a lovely relaxing day on Wednesday. We don't get many of them, so it was nice for a change. We went to the gym, watched a DVD and had an early night. Lovely!!

On Thursday, we had an amazing massage from our personal trainer, John. Lis has never had one before, so she was extremely excited! It was half an hour of pure bliss. Wish it had lasted longer though! After that, we did a workout. John wouldn't let us get away with just a massage!!

After that, we came home and had a bite to eat, cooked by Lis. Bearing in mind it was the first time she had properly cooked (as she hates cooking), we didn't get poisoned and, even though it didn't look great, it tasted alright. In our eyes, that's a success!!
