Hi everyone, we are currently on tour with ‘Leon Jackson’ & ‘Same Difference’ and are having an amazing time!
It all began on May 10th when we started by performing at the ‘Same Difference’ concert in their home town of Portsmouth which was a wicked night and the crowd was amazing.
Same Difference came to our dressing room to wish us good luck, and invited us to their after show party which we took them up on, what a great night! Then it was off to Batley and an under 18s nightclub where we performed one of the dance mixes of our debut single ‘Should I Stay’ and it was good to see everyone bouncing up and down with their hands in the air. We think we should start a ‘Cameleonz’ dance!!! lol.
Then we were off again to Preston College where we had been invited to give a talk and have a jam session with the students. We performed some acoustic songs for them and did a filmed interview for their website, check it out ;)
The next day we headed "oop north" to bonny Scotland for the first Leon Jackson date in Glasgow and they really know how to party there. We ran on stage too a very loud crowd who made us feel very welcome, and rocked with us on every song. A big shout out to all the lovely ladies at the stage door too, You guys are crazy standing in the rain all that time! Crazy in a good way though ;)
After Glasgow we headed off to Dundee, Aberdeen, Perth and Motherwell which were all as equally brilliant shows with Mexican waves and screaming competitions a plenty. It's the best feeling in the world when the crowd sings our songs back to us, so cheers folks. And thanks to all the lovely people in Aberdeen who gave us a cheer when we mentioned Marcus' nan who is from Aberdeen, lol.
As well as all the theater shows we have also managed to fit in some school shows which we love doing. Big shout out to everyone who saw us, and we hope you crazy kids from Perth have finally stopped bouncing, you must be knackered by now ;) Gotta say aswell, loving the school dinners!!!
In between shows we have started on or radio promotion as well and popped into Heartland FM, Central FM and Northsound on our travels. We had fun at all the interviews and loved the True or False game we played at Heartland with Ross. (If any of you missed it, Marcus won which he hasn't let Lis forget yet lol). We also really enjoyed the acoustic session with Michael at Northsound where we played a snippet of a new track we are working on as well as playing our debit single "Should I Stay" which is out on June 22nd in case anyone has forgotten ;)
That's all for now folks, we'll post a new update in a few days so keep checking back.
Love Lis and Marcus
xxx
