After that, a journalist came round for a meeting with us. He's a really cool guy and we've never seen anyone type on a laptop so fast. He was like a machine!!
The meeting went well and, when he left, we went straight to bed and slept like logs yet again. I think that the ever so relaxing massage might have something to do with that...
We had a gig in Leicester on Friday with our friend Brooklyn. He's a very funny guy and is currently on a diet of porridge and chicken. Wonder how long that will last?!!
The gig went well, and the venue was packed (which is always a good thing). We didn't get home until really late- Marcus was asking for matchsticks to keep his eyes open. Although Lis couldn't find any, he thankfully didn't fall asleep!!
We decided to go car shopping on Saturday, but didn't see any that took our fancy. After that, we travelled to Birmingham for a gig with a Madonna tribute act. The gig was absolutely fantastic- such a great crowd! We had a really good night, and it was great to watch the tribute, who was brilliant. It was lovely to see the audience having a really good time.
We thought we would have a pretty relaxing Sunday, but decided to take a look at potential cars, on the off chance one jumped out at us and screamed 'buy me'. One did!!
After so long looking for a new car, we had finally found one! It's gorgeous and we can't wait to bring it home. We fell in love as soon as we saw it. Got to feel sorry for our old car though. It has done us proud, but there comes a time when you have to move on...
So, that was a great end to our week!!
