The Cameleonz

Hi guys, sorry it’s late!!! It has been a mad couple of weeks for us..............

Hope you have all had a great week.

We haven’t exactly been sticking to our healthy diets this past week! We let it go downhill quite a lot really lol.

We didn’t go to the gym on Monday, which was even worse considering we ate rubbish as well!

Lis had a modelling shoot Monday night, with our favourite photographer Tony. Tony has currently been working with Westlife and Florence and the Machine so it was a real honour for him to ask Lis to be a model for him. Tony had borrowed a special light for taking photo's with from a girl at a college he new and as he was taking photo's of Lis the light set on fire!!

Of course he paniced as did we all! He was trying to take the light off his camera to see if he could fix it but the light had melted on. What were we supposed to do then?!

He didnt dare to tell the girl he new as she would probably get in trouble so he thought about buying a new one and hoping she would never notice, but then it would take about 3 weeks to deliver and he had to give it her back the next day, so we were in a predicament! LOL.

To top it all off Lis is allergic to animals and she had to get changed in Tony's room, where he had two MASSIVE CATS in there! So she came down sneezing and coughing and red eyed, great for photo's. Ha-Ha.............

Oh and to definitly top the night off Tony also had a really bad cold and was coughing everywhere so now Lis has caught that! But apart from all that we had a great time at the shoot and it went well, as you can all tell. LOL.

On Tuesday and Wednesday we did go to the gym and got some hard workouts. We also went for a lovely Indian meal in a local restaurant which was really nice as we haven’t had an Indian for about a year!!

We went to the cinema on Thursday to see ‘Night mare on Elm Street’. Lis brought her mum and partner along and our friend Brooklyn came too. Now Lis’s mum absolutely hates scary films, she basically puts her hands in front of her eyes the whole way through, so there’s actually no point in her watching it, but we took her anyway.

We didn’t tell her what we were going to watch, we just said it was going to be a surprise. Some surprise it turned out to be for her! We thought the film was really good, but Lis’s mum hated it.  (The bits she actually saw!)

The only thing was that we didn’t think Freddy Kruger looked as scary as he did in the old films, but never mind we still had a good time.

On Friday we had our competition that we put on called ‘Leeks got Talent’. The night was a great success, and everyone performed really well, there was definitely a lot of talent there.

The winners were fantastic, they were a comedy duo called ‘Martyn and Cole’, and they had the whole audience curling over in laughter the whole way through, they were great, so well done to them. They now get to perform on the ‘Charity Variety Show’, with us at the Victoria Hall in Stoke, on the 22nd May. We are sure they will have the whole audience there laughing too.

We went to a local fair on Saturday afternoon with Marcus's little sister and brother. There were some great rides and Marcus even joined the kids on the bumper cars. Think he enjoyed it more then the kids did!!

We had a gig in Doncaster in the evening; it was a fair drive so we knew it was going to be a late one!

Our friend Brooklyn came along with us to do our sound and lights for us, which is always nice, it gives us less to do then LOL. We had a great gig, the venue was really nice and the people were really friendly. We love our job!

We didn’t get back till really late on Saturday night, but we still had to get up very early on Sunday morning as we had to do a workshop for all the kids who are performing at the ‘Charity Variety Show’.

Even though we were really tired we had a great morning, it was nice to finally meet all of the performers and to watch their act. It’s great to see so many talented young people. Everybody had a good time and we were there to just throw advice at who ever needed or wanted it and to generally help with anything.

So when we got home from the workshop in the afternoon, it was a really sunny, so we went out for dinner with Lis’s brother and his girlfriend, and then we just chilled out in our garden and then cleaned the car. (Which we hadn’t done in a while, so trust us it needed it!)

Stay tuned for next week’s blog, we promise it will be on time J !!........................................
