Hi everybody, we are so sorry that we haven’t updated our blog for a few weeks, but you wouldn’t believe how busy we have been! We haven’t stopped at all.
So what we are going to do is just put on the gig’s and the best bit’s of what has been happening, because we know that they are the only bits that you wanna read really!
You don’t want to read all the boring stuff in between, we know we wouldn’t!
So here we go, this is what has been happening over the last few weeks.......................
In the middle of June, we had a meeting with a record label (very exciting), the meeting went really well, we have been offered a production deal so far and hopefully other things will come off it. So fingers crossed for that. It went that well we were in there until 2am!! But we will keep you updated on everything that is happening with that as it could be a good breakthrough for us, o yer................... Oh there is one minor thing we forgot to mention, well actually it’s a pretty big major thing, we will have to change our band name!!! Eek.......... but the reasons are good ones so we don’t mind too much, so we love it if you could throw your suggestions our way J
We had a brilliant gig in Stafford which isn’t too far from us, we set up outside as it was a lovely night, and the venue was packed, and when we say packed we mean packed!! Everyone was dancing all night and we didn’t get off stage until half 1 in the morning! But we had a great gig so it was worth the tiredness!
Throughout June we have been gigging everywhere, all the way around the country and back again lol.
We did a gig in Mansfield and blew one of our speakers!! That was not good, as we had loads of gig’s to do still! So the only solution was to hire some speakers for the gig’s, so we had a brand new set of speakers, which wasn’t good as we were paranoid all the time about getting them dirty!!
So we travelled around with these speakers gigging all over the place and we didn’t get a scratch on them! Thank god, because that would have been a hefty bill!
We then took our speaker in to be fixed and luckily it was done within a couple of days so we were back to normal again.
As the weather had been ridiculously hot, but who are we to complain, it’s not like we get good weather all the time is it? So we have to make the most of it. We decided to have a BBQ and set up the big screen telly outside so we could watch England play in the sun! (But let’s be honest, the match wasn’t really worth watching!!)
It did take a while to get the telly to work though, and when we finally got it to work we couldn’t see it as the sun was too bright so we came up with a genius plan and put the big brolly above it so it was shaded, and we could see it! Well it wasn’t that genius but it worked LOL.
But despite the game, the BBQ was lovely and the weather was spot on. So we just topped up our tans and chilled out..........

On the 29th of June we went off to London, we had a gig in Battersea on the 30th but we decided to go down a day early so we could watch a west end show as we had never seen one before. We went to see ‘The Jersey Boys’ and it was amazing. It was everything you could expect and more. The singing was great, the band was great. It was just an amazing show, that’s all we can say about it, you have to see it to see what we mean.

When we finally got over the excitement of the show we had to get some sleep as we had to be up and ready really early in the morning for the gig in Battersea, which was called ‘The amazing great children’s party’, and it is pretty amazing. It was in Battersea Park, and it was full of fantastic things for kids such as, face painting, bouncy castles, balloon makers, rides, and great entertainment.
The ‘Cheeky girls’ were on and ‘Chico’, and an Elvis Presley Tribute called ‘Elvis Smelish’ which was brilliant. Marcus was happy as Elvis gave him his hair gel LOL. And we performed, it was a great gig and we really enjoyed it, to top it off the weather was great as well. What more could we ask for.

On July 2nd we gigged in Marcus’s local town Leek, with ‘Britain’s got talent’ finalists ‘2Grand’. They are really nice people, and we had a great gig, the venue was sold out and was packed, it was a great atmosphere and everyone went home smiling.
On Saturday the 3rd of July, we had a gig at Paulton Park, which is near South Hampton, in front of thousands of screaming girl guides, along with a ‘Green day tribute band’, ‘Shaun Smith’, from ‘Britain’s got talent, and ‘Stacey Solomon’, from the ‘X Factor’. Yet again the gig was amazing, we got the whole crowd jumping up and down with their hands in the air, and that was a lot of people to be jumping up and down, it looked amazing.

On Sunday the 4th of July we travelled to Rhyl to perform at the ‘Life of Elvis Concert’. Marcus was very excited about this as Elvis Presley is one of his favourite artistes of all time, so we were really looking forward to doing this gig. They had 3 of the top tributes on, and they were brilliant. The crowd were great and we had a brill time.

So these are all the main events that we have done through June and a bit of July, in between those we have just been gigging everywhere else, so stay tuned for the next updated blog.....................
